It was throughly disappointing for Manchester United as they failed to save their Champion League trophy for the second consecutive year. They suffered Champion League heartbreak at Rome as Barcelona eased to victory at Stadio Olimpico.
Just after the kick off, Samuel Eto’o(10′) put Barca into an early lead continued by little Lionel Messi(70′) rose his head and scored the second goal for Barca. Some early chances for Cristiano Ronaldo but he can’t make it to put United infront.
